Tesco And Jovian Mandagie Celebrates Orked With 20 Lucky Fashion Fans

Tesco Stores Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Tesco Malaysia) and fashion designer Jovian Mandagie organised an exclusive preview of the Orked Collection with 20 of Jovian’s lucky fans for a meet and greet session in Tesco Extra Mutiata Damansara on 22nd June 2013.

The celebration began with a welcome by Jovian Mandagie and dinner at a restaurant in Tesco Extra Mutiara Damansara. The lucky Jovian Mandagie fans did not only get to meet and greet session with the designer to the star, but they also had the opportunity to be styled by Jovian Mandagie himself during the ‘styling session’ after dinner at the Apparel section in the store. During the session, Jovian personally took the time to style each of them and gave them tips on how to look chic wearing pieces from the Orked collection ahead of the upcoming festive seasons.

Jovian Mandagie, who was just recently named the Mercedes Benz Designer of the Year 2013, has created a collection of 24 pieces for the Orked collection that are chic and stylish. The collection features a modern contemporary take at the traditional kurung labuh, kurung moden, kebaya, kaftan and long dresses, injected with the Jovian signature peplum, draping and mermaid silhouette.

Tesco’s collaboration with Jovian Mandagie will provide an exclusive collection that is accessible and affordable to fashion fans throughout Malaysia, in particular Jovian Mandagie enthusiasts with prices starting from RM199 per design. The collection, which comes in soft shades of lilac, blush pink, mint green and flavescent yellow, will be made available at 20 of Tesco’s stores across Malaysia starting 1 July 2013.

Orked by Jovian Mandagie will be available in stores at Ampang, Mutiara Damansara, Kota Bahru, Klang, Seremban 2, Desa Tebrau, Tanjung Pinang, Melaka, Shah Alam, Station 18, Puchong, Taiping, Seri Alam, Kepong, Penang, Kajang, Setia Alam, SP Selatan, Mergong, and Nilai.
