Burberry Beauty introduces 6 Complete Eye Palettes each containing four coordinating Burberry Beauty Sheer Eye Shadow colours. The shades are arranged in order of application from lightest to darkest. The 6 shade combinations range from pale nudes to darker shades.
The formula is a sheer buildable finish, lightweight, natural formula for a customisable smokey finish. The eye shadows have satin and matte textures blended with silicones for smooth glide and easy application. They feature micronised satin smooth pigments for long-lasting vibrant colour and colour-true finish.
Each palette contains an illuminating base, two blendable shades to add structure, and a liner to define and enrich. The palettes are housed in the signature Burberry Beauty pouch with the iconic Burberry check and the compact is sleek in gunmetal. The magnetic lid also features the iconic Burberry check. There are three different applicators – one for blending, depositing the eye shadows and a slanted liner brush. These are quality applicators as befits the brand.
The 6 Complete Eye Palettes are:-
- Smoky Grey No. 1
- Mocha No. 2
- Pale Nude No. 3
- Dark Spice No. 5
- Plum Pink No. 6
- Pink Taupe No. 7
Pale Nude No. 3 has the lightest shades, it’s probably only for people who want the palest eye shadows and definitely wouldn’t show up on those with darker or tanned skin tones. My favourite of the 6 palettes is Pink Taupe No. 7 as the shades here are quite different from the rest of the palettes, these aren’t as brown or neutral toned.
Here’s what the shades in Pink Taupe No. 7 Palette looks like on me thanks to Burberry Beauty’s Trainer, Adrian Sin. On my lips is Lip Glow in Vintage Gold. Adrian used the lightest shade as highlighter followed by the 2nd & 3rd shades (the middle shades) layered over each other and the darkest shade as eye liner. The look is smoky yet not too smoky for day.
