This is where Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum comes in to help ladies (and men) in the reduction of dark spots. It’s the “next-generation dark spot solution”.
Fourteen days ago, I was sent a bottle of Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum together with their City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ to try out for the purpose of this review.
My skin had been looking dull and rather badly in need of a good serum like Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum. Although I cleanse and scrub my skin regularly, this serum promises to do much more than my regular skincare routine could. Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum is (and this is very important) a hydroquinone-free serum that promotes surface cell turnover for more even, brighter skin.
The Serum has a lightweight gel texture and one pump is sufficient for the entire face and neck. It absorbs into skin fast and there is no sticky residue. After applying, it gives skin an instant radiance/luminosity. It’s suitable for all skin types, be it dry, oily, normal or combination. It targets the dark spots we can see and prevents the look of the ones we cannot see yet.
After using it during day time, I apply Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF50 PA++++. It’s important and essential to apply a sunscreen especially if you are spending time outdoors. This sunscreen protects our skin from multiple types of light damage (blue light from screens or UVA and UVB outdoors). This is an excellent sunscreen which absorbs rapidly into skin with no ashy residue.
From Day 1 to Day 14 (before and after usage of the Serum and Sunscreen) :
After these two weeks, my skin has brightened gradually. It may take a bit more time to work on the (more stubborn) dark spots. Of course, results vary from person to person. However, I am pleased with the results as two weeks isn’t a long time yet there are positive results.
