A few years ago when I started this blog, I just wanted to share my reviews on products I’d bought and products that I noticed at the counters. At the time, I certainly didn’t expect to be invited to as many product launches and events as I do now.

The term “beauty junkie” is often used to describe those who are passionate about beauty products but I’ve never thought of myself as one. Sure, I love makeup and skincare but that’s not the extent of my interests. I love to read too but I don’t consider myself a bookworm. I have always had some fascination for herbal or Ayurvedic products especially those from India. One of the interesting ones I have seen is Himani Navratna Oil With 9 Natural Ayurvedic Herbs. Daily massage with this oil gives enjoyable cooling which provides relief from daily mental and physical stress- and its related symptoms like headache, fatigue, tension, insomnia.

It can also be used on hair so I am curious to see what benefits it has on hair. Will it be better than the average drugstore hair oil? The nine herbs are Amla, Thyme, Spiked Ginger Lily, Mentha Leaves, Musk Mallow, Ylang Ylang, Vetiver, Rosemary and Hibiscus. It retails at RM6.90/100ml.
