Another breakthrough/innovative skincare product which has been specially formulated for Asian women? Estee Lauder Micro Essence is an “essence in lotion” which (I guess) means a toner/lotion which has the efficacy of a serum. There seem to be quite a lot of such products these days but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to apply a serum after this as it’s meant to be used together with Advanced Night Repair. You apply the Micro Essence either with your hands or a cotton pad after cleansing followed by the Advanced Night Repair.
It’s slightly thicker than the average toner so it won’t run through my fingers if I use my hands to apply but I prefer using a cotton pad (just a matter of preference, doesn’t mean it will be any less efficacious). After it’s been absorbed, I apply the Advanced Night Repair which is absorbed quickly into my skin. I can’t say whether it’s made a dramatic difference to my skin after having used samples only for a few days since one is only able to see results in 2 weeks. Frankly, I don’t see the point of paying this much for an essence in the form of a lotion as there are lots of anti-aging/hydrating serums or serum boosters cheaper than this but to each his/her own choice! Take for example, the Dr. Jart V7 Turnover Booster, you can get 2 of those for less than RM300.
This is an anti-aging treatment which promises to bring about the following results:-
- Strengthen skin’s foundation.
- Reduce skin’s surface imperfections.
- Skin radiates with the angelic glow of youth – clearer and more translucent.

wow, that is really quite pricey. I think it does look like the dupe of SK2 miracle essence?
It’s like that nowadays, a lot of products are similar to SKII FTE.
