One of the reasons why I like using Clinique skincare is there are no unpleasant surprises such as skin irritations. So far so good for me with Clinique products. Clinique Turnaround Instant Facial Masque is basically an exfoliating mask which is left on skin for about 5 minutes.
The texture is creamy and medium-thick. As I spread it on my face, I can feel it’s a bit gritty. There are micro scrub particles within the cream. Within 5 minutes, the mask has dried and hardened although it won’t harden to the extent of clay masks.
I have read some online reviews that it leaves a glittery film on skin but I didn’t experience this with my sample. My skin did feel smoother after the mask had been rinsed off but that was about it. My skin didn’t look brighter than before. It has the same effect as my regular exfoliator which doesn’t have to be left on skin for 5 minutes. My skin felt a bit dry and tight after it’d been rinsed off.
