This morning, I was at Isetan KLCC shortly after 10 and saw many customers with multiple fukubukuro or New Year lucky Bags on their shoulder. It wasn’t unusual to see customers with at least 3 red bagscontaining random products from beauty and lifestyle brands. The most popular was at the 2nd floor at the entrance of the Event Hall as there were a number of lingerie, bedding and bath brands offering these lucky bags.
I think that this year there are fewer beauty brands offering the lucky bags. At the beauty/cosmetics floor, I only saw Kose and Cosme Decorte bags. I don’t know how one can purchase the lingerie lucky bags though because would you be getting bra/underwear that fits you? Same with the fashion bags. How would you know the garments are your size and the style to your liking/taste?
