Cleansing oils are one of the most effective ways of removing make-up thoroughly and the sensation of the oil melting away all make-up and impurities is incomparable. Also, oils make skin feel so much softer and hydrated after cleansing. There is something very nourishing about using cleansing oils and they don’t feel harsh. Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil was introduced six years ago. It has an infusion of a proprietary blend of Jasmine Flower, Kukui Nut and Sunflower Oils.
The first thing I noticed about this cleansing oil is that it’s fairly concentrated/thick. Some cleansing oils have a rather thin/fluid consistency but this one is not. The rich and emollient Cleansing Oil treatment gently and effectively cleanses skin and removes face, eye and lip makeup without drying or stripping the skin.
Emollient Sunflower, Olive and Jojoba Oils work to break down makeup and remove impurities while protecting skin’s barrier function and maintaining moisture levels. Kukui Nut Oil, rich in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, helps strengthen the moisture barrier and prevent dehydration. Calming and Soothing Jasmine Flower helps reduce the appearance of redness and soothes skin with its anti-irritant properties.
