Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eye Liner

One of the reasons why I don’t wear eye liners often is because of my oily lids. There aren’t many eye liners that I’ve tried that are able to stay put for long hours of wear. If they smudge, they usually smudge within an hour or two of wear which is bad news for me because I don’t look at myself in the mirror unless I’m in front of the sink in the loo.

Too Faced has come out with 6 shades of Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eye Liner this Fall. They are described as creamy and long-wearing, glide on with the ease of liquid liner and lock down for 8 hours of budgeproof, smudgeproof wear.

Each eye liner is dual-ended, the other end is a flexi-firm, beveled smudger to allow a smoky blend or precise line. I had a problem with my Perfect Peacock (teal) shade as the pencil was too soft and broke on 1st application. Subsequently, it broke each time I sharpened, re-sharpened and applied it so I have to use it very carefully to avoid breakage.

Other than that, the eye liner applies without tugging lids, is slightly shimmery with better than average pigmentation, has good colour pay-off and the best thing about it is it really does have excellent staying power as it didn’t budge/smudge all day.

It can be used as an eye liner, as a base for eye shadows or on its own as eye shadow. I used the beveled smudger to blend the eye liner on my eye crease. Colour is buildable so you can have it as sheer or as intense depending on your preference.

For those who are particular about the ingredients, do take note that it is free of parabens, mineral oil and paraffins. The other shades are Perfect Black (Black, what else?), Perfect Black Orchid (Blackened Plum), Perfect Brown (Brown), Perfect Purple (Purple) and Perfect Storm (Charcoal).

They are available at Sephora at RM69 (1.2g) each.
