Homegrown creative artist booking specialists, HMG breaks ground on their latest venture, with the official launch of their Jumpstart Universe concert series. With the first of the series, Jumpstart Festival set to take place on 2 and 3 February 2024, more details were shared at HMG’s recent press conference at W Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The Jumpstart Universe concert series serves as a dynamic platform for local and international artists alike, connecting them to audiences new and old. More than a simple music festival, the series aims to set the stage for live music experiences in Malaysia going forward, creating a one-of-a-kind music experience for audiences of all ages, and connecting them through the universal language of music. Each instalment will spotlight a distinct genre, with the first of the series commencing with an exhilarating showcase of electronic dance music (EDM).

The debut instalment of Jumpstart Universe at Sepang International Circuit promises an immersive experience with a carefully curated lineup of artists. Jumpstart Friday will feature high-energy beats of homegrown heroes such as Chuckies & Whackboi, Sherry Alyssa, and Vgene and will be headlined by international sensation Dash Berlin, with a list of other international acts from Australia, Brazil, the Netherlands and more to be unveiled soon.

HMG’s Founder, Haaziq Hamid, expressed his excitement for the company’s debut event, sharing, “As HMG’s founder and a music enthusiast myself, we aim to add a new dimension to Malaysia’s concert scene. With the Jumpstart Universe series, we hope to achieve that and more! It’s going to be more than an entertainment spectacle — it’s a timeless, immersive experience that goes beyond the boundaries of music.”

The ticketing structure for Jumpstart Festival reflects a commitment to accessibility, with varying phases and price points catering to a wide range of audiences. For early jumpers general access begins at RM99.00 with VIP tickets going at RM299.00 for both days, attendees can choose from a spectrum of options to secure their participation in this musical extravaganza. All ticket holders will also receive a Jumpstart Festival t-shirt for free – a special arrangement that aligns with Jumpstart Festival’s goals of uniting audiences and music lovers.

In a nod to community support, Jumpstart Festival will also be extending a helping hand to local food vendors – especially those affected by the cancellation of recent events, by offering free or discounted rental spots. This initiative underscores the festival’s dedication to creating a positive impact on the local economy.
