It’s a little remiss of me as I haven’t featured Revlon until today. I can’t remember if I’ve ever used any Revlon products but I feel that I must have in the days when there weren’t many that many drugstore make-up brands. At the recent bloggers’ gathering organised by MIVVA with Revlon, we were given a preview of their latest Super Lustrous™ Lipsticks and Lipglosses.
Revlon introduces 8 new shades of Super Lustrous Lipstick which are as sheer as they are lightweight. You might think the colours are pretty intense looking at the tubes but when I swatched, them, they looked quite muted but they are buildable.
The lipstick feels very smooth and moisturising and they are formulated with light reflecting LiquiShine complex, containing Abyssinian Oil and a moisturizing formula with Vitamin E and Avocado Oil so lips never feel dry with the lipstick on. When I saw Rich Girl Red, I thought the colour would be an intense shade of red but the colour is rather soft and wearable even if you aren’t fond of red lip colours, It’s a flattering shade of red and one I could grow accustomed to.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick is priced at RM32 and will be available from October 2013.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss unveils a sleek new tube and formula that boosts hydration and provides an instantly plumped look while delivering glamorous color and shine. This updated Super Lustrous Lipgloss formula contains a moisturizing complex of Vitamin E and Avocado Oil to condition and give the appearance of fuller lips without irritation or stickiness. It also contains the light-reflecting LiquiShine complex.
Each of the 8 new shades in fun pops of color have a petal soft applicator for luscious, comfortable and even application of color. Pinkissimo is a soft pink which adds lustre to any lipstick. It adds moisture to lips and doesn’t feel at all sticky.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss is priced at RM30 and will be available at Watsons stores from October 2013.
