The first of Watsons’ sixth generation store format was launched today at First Floor, East Wing, Mid Valley Megamall after an absence of two months. The new store format, dubbed Generation 6 or G6 will see a more inviting store with brighter and warmer ambience that makes for a warmer and more accessible shopping experience.
“Every year, Watsons refreshes our store concept to make it more inviting to shoppers, simultaneously making shopping for personal care more fun! These changes are tracked by store generations and our all-new Mid Valley Megamall outlet is the first Generation 6 store for 2012. All stores opened this year will follow the same format”. said Kulvinder Birring, Managing Director of Watsons Malaysia.
The new Watsons in Mid Valley not only features a brighter and more inviting exterior but also new shelving systems, larger and more prominent displays as well as interactive zones throughout the store interior. The new interactive zones include product testing displays that are equipped with product testers, allowing customers to sample new products before deciding on their purchase. With the introduction of Generation 6 store format, there is also the unprecedented advisory services of in-store Health and Beauty Advisors available to all customers apart from the usual Pharmacist.
