It’s been a year since I last used a Biotherm skincare product, the White D-Tox Serum and a few other products in the same range. Since the Biotherm counter at Robinson’s was organising a workshop, I decided to give the brand another go.
There are a few Biotherm skincare products I’ve used pre-White D-Tox Serum which I loved, namely the Biosource Cleansing Oil, Aquasource Hydrating Mask & moisturising gel, the last one being Biotherm’s star hydrating product.
This workshop had a few speakers, starting with Ms. Indra Balaratnam, a US trained consultant dietician who was also one of the speakers at a Clarins White Plus HP workshop held last year. She gave Malaysian obesity statistics, causes of unhealthiness and tips on eating healthy.
The 2nd speaker was Mr. Szeto Anthony who gave styling tips and this was followed by Biotherm’s Training Manager, Ms. Vanessa Tan who gave a facial demo on one of the workshop participants after introducing Biotherm’s latest whitening skincare range, White D-Tox Translu-Cell.
Last but not least, there was a brief yoga session cum demo by one of mYoga’s yoga instructors. Food and refreshments were available after the workshop and the contents of the goody bag included a complimentary facial voucher and a set of sample sized skincare for oily skins.
