Laneige collaborates with Sanna Annukka, the illustrator and print designer with both Finnish and British roots, for their ‘Love In Bloom’ Spring Collection. In designing ‘Love In Bloom’, flowers are used as a symbol of happiness, wonderment and joy. Tulips and Peonies, which also symbolizes love is the perfect inspiration for spring.
In her design, Sanna Annukka created a dreamy garden landscape filled with Tulips and other Spring flowers in bloom. In the illustration, a girl is seen enjoying the happy melodies of two birds whilst exploring the Garden of Eden. Just like the classic Alice in Wonderland tale, the girl walks around smelling the fresh flowers and dancing around the garden to the tune of the birds signing. Her mind at peace, and her heart so filled with warmth and love.
Like Alice, this girl eventually makes new friends in exploring the huge garden. The girl’s happy and energetic mood is a symbol of confidence while the fresh blooming flowers in the garden reflects what Laneige stands for which is fresh, young and elegant.
