Rodial Crash Diet Smoothie

Rodial is a brand which is most famous for being a favourite of Hollywood stars. Their Dragon’s Blood Sculpting Gel is Angelina Jolie’s beauty must-have. Rodial offers body treatments such as crash diet supplements. Their crash diet™ Smoothie comes in a box of 10 sachets (18g each) in banana and strawberry flavour.

The description on the box states that each sachet “contains a combination rich in proteins and polyphenols to sustain your energy”. They are recommended to be taken in conjunction with Rodial’s crash diet™ STICKS (peach flavoured) and body gel, combined with a healthy diet and exercise.

Each sachet is mixed with either 200ml of fresh water, skim milk, soy milk or juice in a shaker and shaken until completely mixed. The recommended dosage is 1-2 sachets per day for 2 weeks. Since there are only 10 sachets in the box passed to me for review, I took the drink once a day for 10 days.

I don’t drink skim milk or soy milk and I didn’t have any juice in the fridge so I mixed each sachet with fresh water and shook the mixture in a mug with a cover. That creates a foamy drink which is quite thick. It’s not sweet and does taste fruity, more strawberry flavour than banana, in my opinion.

I don’t know if it tastes better with skim milk/soy milk or juice but with fresh water, there was an aftertaste which I didn’t find particularly palatable. After 10 days, my weight was still the same – after all, I stuck to my regular diet and no exercise. I also don’t have the crash diet™ STICKS and body gel so perhaps it’d have made a difference to my weight if I had taken the smoothie with these. Furthermore, I reckon one sachet a day for 10 days wouldn’t be enough to see a difference for someone with my weight!

Rodial crash diet™ Smoothie retails at RM240 – for more information on the brand and products, please check out their website.
