My favourite MAC lipsticks are the amplified texture ones as they have the best colour pay-off and don’t fade. They’re also much less drying than the matte ones and not as soft and therefore easily breakable as the other textures like Cremesheen. MAC Aaliyah Haughton More Than A Woman Lipstick is an Amplified and therefore I’m going to continue using this even though deep red (looks like a wine shade) is not really my colour.
The lipsticks looks quite dark in the tube but when I applied it, it wasn’t as red as I expected. I think that it should fit all skin tones, from fair to dark. It’s quite an acceptable shade for me.
