Kuala Lumpur Big Kitchen Festival 2015 : That Foodie Place

We are all used to taking away iced coffee or iced teh tarik in plastic bags but sometimes it can get messy especially if you are driving and there’s no passenger to help you hold on to the bag until you arrive at your destination so here’s an alternative – those beloved Malaysian drinks in bottles which can be shared with a friend.

The Foodie Place who are based a 3rd Floor Mezzanine of MidValley Megamall is one of the exhibitors at Kuala Lumpur Big Kitchen Festival 2015 and they had samplings of their “That Iced Coffee” and “That Teh Tarik”. The bottles are 500ml which converts to 2½ cups with ice. Each bottle retails at RM10.

How about trying The Foodie Place Iced Teh Tarik with Sangkaya Coconut Ice Cream at Kuala Lumpur Big Kitchen Festival 2015?

One of the guys at The Foodie Place asked me if I’d be willing to try their Iced Teh Tarik with their neighbor, Sangkaya Coconut Ice Cream and of course I was more than willing. It was a hot and humid day yesterday afternoon until the thunderstorm and I was dying for something cooling and refreshing. I must say the Iced Teh Tarik really went very well with the Sangkaya Coconut Ice Cream, so smooth and not over sweet. I highly recommend this combination!
