Guardian Malaysia is giving away a dream home worth RM498,000, 500,000 air miles and dozens of other attractive prizes in celebration of its 49th anniversary and Malaysia’s National Day.
Marketing Director of Guardian Health and Beauty Sdn Bhd, Ms Christina Low, launching Guardian’s Win-a-House contest at D’Mayang Sari @ Nilai, where the dream home is located, said: “We have made it our tradition to celebrate our anniversary and Merdeka by giving back something special to consumers each year.
This year, given all the public discussions on property ownership and affordability Guardian Malaysia decided it would be truly meaningful to give–away a double storey terrace house, at the idyllic suburb of D’Mayang Sari@ Nilai near Kuala Lumpur.
D’Mayang Sari, being developed by Seri Pajam Development, is a guarded residential community, featuring contemporary homes that are designed ergonomically, allowing the innovative use of space to create luxury and harmony.
Ms Low added that this extra special prize was also inspired by the strong support consumers have given to Guardian since its first store opened in 1967 at The Weld, one of oldest retailing landmark in the City. Then, it was operating a humble 200 square feet store offering health and personal care products, besides acting as a pharmacy to the community.
“Fast forward to 2016, Guardian Malaysia now operates more than 400 stores across the entire country, including one e-store. More importantly, Guardian today is a name strongly associated with health, beauty and pharmacy. A brand trusted for quality products, extensive range and year-round great offers.”

All in, a total of 81 prizes are up for grabs for this year’s double celebration contest.
Apart from the house, 30 first runner ups will receive 16,666 Air Asia Big Points each, 10 second runner-up prizes of Kuvings Slow Juicers, worth more than RM2,800 each, and 40 consolation prizes of La Gourmet utensils and product hampers worth more than RM100 each.
The contest which runs from 28 July to 28 Sept is open to anyone above 18 years. To participate, they only have to purchase a minimum of RM40 including one participating brand product, and then count the number of Guardian tissue packs in the acrylic model house, measuring 2 feet (width) by 3 feet (height) by 3 feet (length).
The main participating brands are: Bio-essence, Hada Labo, L’Oreal, Maybelline, Nutox and Sunsilk.
Entries can be submitted via Line App, via Micro site or via Contest forms which are available at the stores.
Forty one (41) entries with the correct or closest number will be selected for a final round of skill test event to determine who wins the grand prize and the other prizes.
