Murad Vitalic Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser

If some of you may recall, I didn’t have a stellar experience with my first Murad Vitalic product. Still I was willing to give another product from that range a try as I don’t believe the adage “once bitten, twice shy” applies to every situation.

Murad Vitalic Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser was in Bag Of Love’s debut bag and comes in a pump bottle with a pinkish liquid but when pumped out, the liquid transforms into foam. I need about 5-6 pumps to cleanse my skin of make-up but less (3-4 pumps) if I am not wearing make-up.

Doesn’t it look thick and lush? It certainly feels like that on my skin and has a mild pomegranate scent. Instructions state that it’s to be used on damp skin but I use it on dry skin and it works fine. Although the product description doesn’t state that it can remove make-up, it did remove my make-up quite effectively but I think this cleanser might be more suitable for oily skin types because my skin felt a bit dry and tight after it’d been rinsed off. Other than that, it is a pretty good instant foaming cleanser since it has the ability to remove powder/foundation/blush.

It contains witch hazel extract for controlling oil and is said to have an exfoliating effect although I didn’t feel my skin had been exfoliated, i.e. not smoother after use. The full size cleanser is RM148/150ml.
