Lazada Seller Summit 2024 Empowers EntrepreneursTowards A Brighter Digital Future

Lazada, one of Southeast Asia’s leading eCommerce platforms, today celebrated the remarkable achievements of its top-performing sellers at its inaugural Lazada Seller Summit 2024 held at One World Hotel. Over 40 sellers across a variety of categories including fashion & beauty, home & living, electronics, and groceries among others were honoured for their outstanding growth and success on Lazada’s platform with various awards throughout the event.

The summit, which is not unlike the company’s annual Masterclass of previous years, was attended by over 1,000 sellers from all over Malaysia and was officiated by YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, Malaysian Minister of Digital. In addition to the presentation of accolades, sellers were also engaged in a full-day of diverse programs featuring insightful presentations and interactive panel discussions.

Key topics such as digital marketing strategies, logistics optimisation, and customer engagement tactics were explored in depth, equipping attendees with useful strategies, best practices, and know-how to enhance their businesses in the competitive digital landscape. Attendees also had the opportunity of connecting with Lazada and eCommerce industry leaders, fellow sellers, and seasoned Lazada Certified Trainers.

Recognising the top brands and sellers on Lazada

Throughout the events at the Lazada Seller Summit 2024, international brands such as Dyson, HP, Huawei, LEGO, Samsonite and Samsung were among those recognised for their achievements. Local brands such as Montigo and NEUTROVIS were also presented awards such as Most Loved Lifestyle Brand Partner and Most Loved Home-Grown Brand Partner respectively. Senheng was celebrated as the Most Loved Retailer Brand Partner for exceptional service and customer loyalty.

Sellers like ALDO, Baseus, Big Pharmacy, Olaplex and Pop Mart also walked away with awards befitting their success on the platform. Among the many recipients, Adam Zero and Bite a Snack were two that stood out for their high product quality and seller ratings, as well as their consistent and steady growth on the Lazada platform.

“I began my journey as a Lazada seller in August 2021 during the pandemic, specialising in men’s clothing. The community’s support, including the guidance received from its Facebook page admins, Lazada Trainers, and other sellers has been invaluable. Through Lazada’s training, I’ve mastered the intricacies of platform workflows, from keyword selection and ad performance, to campaign submission and finance analysis. I am committed to assisting other sellers, as sharing knowledge fosters growth and cultivates a supportive, mutually beneficial community,” shared Timmy Kok, owner of Adam Zero and winner of the Community Champion award.

Emerging Seller award winner, Dixon Chai, the owner of Bite a Snack, expressed, “Amidst the uncertainties of 2020, ‘Bite a Snack’ emerged from Ipoh with a mission to reconnect people with traditional tastes. What began as a humble endeavour to share beloved local products grew into a thriving business on Lazada. Throughout our journey, we’ve built strong customer relationships, and by closely listening to their preferences, we’ve enhanced our product range and delivery while maintaining the quality and satisfaction of our customers.”

These awards were presented to sellers as a reflection of their commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, setting benchmarks for future achievements in the marketplace. Additionally, awards were also presented to livestream hosts who had contributed to the growth of Lazada’s platform.
