Up until my most recent Biotherm facial a few weeks ago, I’d only been to the Biotherm Facial Cabin at Robinson’s. I found out just recently that they also have facials at Isetan KLCC and Parkson KLCC. It’s been quite some time since my last Biotherm facial and I was offered a complimentary Clarisonic Deep Pore Decongesting Facial Treatment at either Isetan KLCC orParkson KLCC. I called Biotherm Isetan KLCC first and all their weekend appointments were fully booked up so I called Biotherm Parkson KLCC next and it was the same story. Apprently, you have to book one month in advance if you want a weekend appointment at either counter so I had to settle for a weekday lunch hour appointment.
The whole point of the Clarisonic Deep Pore Decongesting Facial Treatment is that it allows one to try the Clarisonic set which I posted earlier. This Decongesting set called the Clarisonic Dep Pore Decongesting Solution is for deep cleansing and can also be used by those with dry or combination skins but not every day. Those with oily skins would most benefit from the Deep Pore Decongesting Solution which comes with gel cleanser and clay mask.
My beautician, Felicia started the facial by cleansing with a milk and foam cleanser followed by a scrub. The second time she cleansed, she applied the gel cleanser and used the Clarisonic Deep Pore Decongesting Solution. It felt rather ticklish around my nose and I wanted to sneeze but otherwise it was all good.
I thought Felicia was very skilled with the extraction process even though she didn’t use a steamer prior to the extraction as she said my skin looked red and sensitive. Nevertheless, she removed all my blackheads with relative ease without causing undue pain or discomfort.
There was facial massage and two masks, the first was the clay mask which comes with the Deep Pore Decongesting Solution. The Deep Pore Decongesting Solution is used to remove the mask after applying some water to unharden the mask. This mask can be used twice a week to purify skin.
All in all, this was a very good facial, I enjoyed the facial and shoulder massage and have to commend the beautician for her professionalism and ultra friendly and polite manner. I would consider having more Biotherm facials at Parkson KLCC thanks to the beautician’s skill and attiude. I like this Biotherm Facial Cabin as it’s spacious and the facial bed is comfortable.
