On 1st July 2023, The Square (pet-friendly space) @ Jaya One celebrated their 5 year anniversary and before the celebration began, media were treated to lunch @ Three Stooges Bistro. According to their Facebook page, they have fresh draught beers like Tiger, Heineken and Guinness on tap, as well as a selection of hearty appetisers and mains like pizzas, pastas, Asian rice dishes, popular Western dishes and more. This seems to be a happening place for happy hour and there’s a stage where a band plays in the evenings.
For starters, I ordered the Truffle Mushroom Soup @ RM18. Surprisingly, it only arrived AFTER I had finished the main course. It came with 2 thin and small slices of garlic bread. The size of the garlic bread is too small. The soup is delicious as it’s thick and creamy.
For the main course, I ordered the Guinness Barbecue Pork Collar @ RM28. The pork collar is marinated overnight with guinness beer and herbs, then grilled and basted with guinness. It is served with butter vege, grilled tomato and comes with homemade spicy bbq sauce.
The serving isn’t that big and I felt that there could have been a bit more vege especially the lettuce. The pork collar was tender and delicious with the bbq sauce which was not spicy at all. I could have poured the sauce all over the pork collar but preferred to dip each piece of the pork into the bowl of sauce.
