Although I am aware that Energy Day Spa at Great Eastern Mall has been around for a long time, I’ve never tried any of their services until yesterday when I went for the Swiss Line Refreshing Facial (60 minutes). That’s quite an ideal time for people in a hurry.
Energy Day Spa is spacious as they have a changing area with changing rooms and toilets so one is not inconvenienced by having to go to the toilets outside. They passed me a locker key and within the locker was a robe to change into together with a fluffy dressing gown so that one doesn’t feel too undressed from the changing room to the treatment room which is only a few short steps away.
Despite this being a 60 minute facial, there’s extraction after the double cleaning and scrub. Swiss Line products smell so good. The extraction was painless and very professionally conducted. After the extraction, there was a brief massage that was very good and made me wish it was longer.
Then came the mask and the therapist used 2 masks as my T-zone is oily. She used an enzymatic mask on my T-zone and a soothing mask on the rest of the face which felt very hydrating. The enzymatic mask felt slightly tingling.
What I appreciated was that they provide a pillow to place underneath my legs, makes it so much more comfortable. They also have a rather thick duvet which made me feel a bit too warm. However, it’s all designed for the customer’s ultimate comfort.
I’d love to try more treatments at Energy Day Spa but it’s too far away from where I live and I do dread the stretch of road on which the mall is located. The therapist informed me that they provide scalp and shoulder massage for the 75 minute facials, now that would have been great.
