I don’t know if I’ve ever used a product that only contains 3 ingredients but Inglot’s Under Makeup Base is one of them. It only has “Cyclopentasiloxane, Polysilicone-11, Dimethicone” in its list of ingredients. I guess most of it is silicone but it doesn’t have a siliconey feel to it like Smashbox’s Photo Finish.
Inglot’s Under Makeup Base is a clear gel primer which claims to:-
- Make skin matte
- Smoothen
- Improve makeup application
- Absorb sebum
I don’t normally use a makeup primer since I don’t have oily skin but I had this primer lying around (a gift from their official launch). The first time I used it, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Just a small, make that tiny amount is needed per application so this little 30ml tube will go a long way.
Upon application, my skin texture felt so incredibly silky smooth. Foundation just sank into my skin without the need for much blending. It did keep my skin looking matte all day. Oily skins will undoubtedly benefit from this product.
This is one of the best makeup primers I have used. No, make that the best so far. Retails at RM76, reasonable for such a good quality product!
