Six months ago, Biotherm at Robinsons started offering the Aquasource Hydration Bath Facial which is another of their express facials. Just half and hour in duration, it’s for those who’d like to try out Biotherm products to determine whether it’s right for them. At the invitation of Biotherm, I tried the Aquasource Hydration Bath Facial recently. It was my second time at the Biotherm Facial Cabin at Robinson’s. The Aquasource Hydration Bath Facial was pretty much like my 1st facial there but with the inclusion of their latest skincare product, Skin•energetic which stimulates cellular metabolism and targets loss of radiance, uneven complexion, visible pores, unrefined skin texture and roughness.
After the double cleansing process, a scrub is applied. Then it’s on with the Aquasource Non Stop emergency hydration mask for 10 minutes. After the mask is removed, the beautician massaged my face for 5 minutes with Skin•ergetic, Aquasource Super Serum and Aquasource Gel.
Skin•ergetic smells super sweet which isn’t surprising given the ingredients are apples, sugar cane, lemons and broccoli (an anti-oxidant). Actually, Skin•ergetic is affordably priced at RM195 for 50ml when most serums are only 30ml. I don’t know if it was because of Skin•ergetic or a combination of the products used but my skin looked so much more radiant, brighter and hydrated even on the day after the facial.
