Signature International Berhad Brings Christmas Joy To Rumah Hope With A Meaningful Home Makeover

Children at Rumah Hope received an early Christmas surprise as Signature International Berhad (Signature) unveiled refreshed and revitalised living spaces under its strengthened Signature Cares community programme. The initiative forms part of the Group’s broader CSR, sustainability, and ESG commitments, reflecting Signature’s purpose of transforming spaces that elevate comfort, dignity, and emotional wellbeing for vulnerable children.

In line with Signature’s mission to uplift communities, the programme delivered a holistic, child-centred transformation. Beyond the physical makeover, Signature collaborated with the Children’s Protection Society (CPS) and Makchic to introduce storytelling, safety education, and emotional development activities, reinforcing the nurturing, supportive environments the children need to thrive.

The event was also attended by Signature’s Brand Ambassador Amelia Henderson and Signature Brand Celebrity Diana Danielle, who spent the afternoon engaging with the children and amplifying the spirit of compassion, joy, and community upliftment.

Over the past weeks, Signature contributed comprehensive home and living solutions, including mattresses, bedding, towels, curtains, appliances, and loose furniture. To enhance comfort, safety, privacy, and daily living quality for the 50 children residing in the home. The improvements targeted both the bedrooms and shared spaces, strengthening the sense of warmth, organisation, and dignity emphasised in the GCEO’s remarks.

He shared that early visits to the home revealed rooms that were lovingly maintained, yet naturally showing signs of wear – insights that guided Signature in designing upgrades that would have the greatest long-term impact.

“We saw the opportunity to enhance these rooms in ways that bring greater comfort, privacy, and ease into the children’s daily routines. Better rest, better organisation, and a warmer environment directly support their confidence, wellbeing, and the dreams they dare to imagine,” Lau said.

Rumah Hope Principal Edwin Roch expressed appreciation, noting that Signature’s contribution has made a tangible difference to the children’s comfort, safety, and dignity, strengthening the home’s mission to nurture resilient, supported young individuals.

The transformation was supported through the collective contributions of Signature’s community partners, who provided essential items and resources that enhanced the comfort and functionality of the refreshed spaces. The ceremony was made possible with the support of an event partner, whose involvement helped create a warm and meaningful experience for the children and guests. Their combined efforts reflect a shared commitment to uplifting communities and creating nurturing environments for underprivileged children.

The activation also marked the introduction of the refreshed Signature Cares identity – a structured, purpose-driven umbrella aligned with the framework highlighted in the GCEO’s speech. Under Signature Cares, the Group advances impact across four pillars:

  1. Promoting responsible consumption through repurposing and reuse of materials.
  2. Empowering communities by engaging employees, partners, and suppliers.
  3. Supporting long-term wellbeing through safe, comfortable living environments for underprivileged children.
  4. Strengthening local collaborations with Malaysian brands and NGOs to build sustainable community support networks.

Lau added, “Signature Cares strengthens the alignment between our brand promise – Transforming Spaces, Elevating Lives, Touching Hearts – and how we show up for communities.”

He emphasised that Signature’s connection with Rumah Hope does not end with the makeover, and the Group will continue to explore meaningful engagements that foster safer, healthier, and more resilient environments for the children.
