Sensory Skincare : Origins Make A Difference Skin Rejuvenating Treatment

Origins’ Make A Difference™ Skin Rejuvenating Treatment is a cream-gel treatment (Origins website has this product in the “moisturiser” category) for day and night use. It’s formulated to help restore and rejuvenate the appearance of damaged and dehydrated skin. Basically, it aims to provide hydration to wrinkled, weathered and potentially leathered skin. It’s supposed to be used before your regular moisturiser so I regard it as more of a serum but it feels rather too thick to be one.

It comes in a jar with a screw on white cap so you have to dip your fingers in to get the amount required which is not much at all. I found that a little goes a long way as it feels quite thick. It works for me because I have dehydrated cheeks but I’m not sure if it will be too rich for oily skins. My skin has no problems absorbing this product quickly.

Upon application, my skin feels instantly much smoother and softer. I rub the treatment between my palms before spreading it on my cheeks, forehead and neck. Although I use it occasionally in the mornings, I usually use it at night as I just use a moisturiser in the daytime. At night, I use a moisturiser over it since it’s actually a skin primer for maximising the effects of moisturiser.

This product contains Rose of Jericho extract which has a reputation as a “Resurrection” plant that can survive and thrive through decades of drought. There are a few citrus oils in the product which gives it a lovely scent.

The Skin Rejuvenating Treatment comes in a 50ml jar and retails at RM175.
