One of the reasons for Paul & Joe’s appeal is the packaging, very cute bottles for their skincare and looks a bit vintage. I was given 2 samples of their Light Cleansing Milk & Cleansing Milk N when I purchased their eye shadow palette more than a year ago. How things have changed since then. A few months after I made my purchase, the counter was no longer at Parkson Pavilion’s beauty hall and it soon became apparent the brand was no longer available in Malaysia.
Both cleansing milks have a very lovely scent. The Light Cleansing Milk is of course more lightweight but the Cleansing Milk N does not have a heavy feel either. I’ve used both of them to remove eye make-up by pouring the cleansing milks out on to cotton pad with good results.
However when used on the rest of my face, it felt like there was a filmy tacky and slippery residue even after the cleansers had been rinsed off. It’s didn’t feel as if all the cleanser had been rinsed off when in fact it had been. That’s the only thing about the cleansers I didn’t like. Other than that, they managed to remove every trace of my make-up.
I don’t have the prices of these cleansers and in any case, I guess it doesn’t matter since we can’t find any of their products here any more.
yup, this brand is no longer in malaysia, so it doesn’t matter even if we know the price anymore.T_T
I remember the first time I step into sephora Paul and joe was there at klcc sephora…I was very delighted as they have the prettiest packaging however the brand was pulled out of sephora really fast!
Too fast! What a pity as the packaging was so unique.
