It’s been some time since I last had a massage. I purchased this Groupon voucher more than a month ago but they only had an opening last week. Seems that most everyone who’d purchased this deal had called them as soon as the booking dates kicked in. I guess the lesson learnt here is one has to call for an appointment early in order to get the date/time they want.
Dazzling Touch in Bangsar offers hair and spa services.My deal was for a 2 hour pampering session which included a foot bath with Himalaya sea salt followed by 100 minutes of body and face massage.
An array of scrubs
Top row – Himalayan rock salt + sweet orange essential oil, brown sugar, seaweed + green tea
Bottom row – lulur, kaffir lime + ginger, coconut
They use mainly Tanamera spa products and there are a lot of scrubs and essential oils available. My session started with the foot scrub. My therapist has a number of years experience and has worked at other well known spas prior to Dazzling Touch.
No disposable panties and shower cap are provided so if you have long hair, you might want to bring along a hair clip or tie. Basil massage oil was used during my session, it doesn’t have a strong scent. I was informed that it’s good for relieving stress and tension.
My therapist asked if I’d like the massage strokes to be medium or full strength, I prefer stronger kneading. This one was quite relaxing and equal time was given to the back and front of my body. The room accommodates a shower and bathtub which is used for the lulur (herbal) or coconut baths.
