Reviews on the eye shadow, blush and eye liners soon but for now, let’s focus on 2 lip products, the Après Chic lipstick and Pure & Tender Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm.
Après Chic lipstick is a pinky brick red, I liked the shade as soon as I opened the lipstick cover. It’s more of a rose red to me, this is a shade I would have no hesitations in picking up. As this is a Cremesheen texture, you can expect it to be very creamy. I haven’t had such great experiences with Cremesheen textures in the past as the lipsticks tend to break before I finish using them even though I take great care in not exposing them to heat. Let’s hope the same thing won’t happen to this one.
Pure & Tender Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm is one of the two nude tinted lip balms in this collection, the other being Slightly Nude. Pure & Tender is a plumy creamy nude, so very sheer that I don’t use it on its own. Looks great when applied over Après Chic Lipstick, complements each other very well. Makes my lips appear a lot less dry and the gloss effect is very nice indeed.
The Lipstick retails at RM68/3g while the Tinted Lip Balm retails at RM80/10ml.
