Estee Lauder’s Soft Clean Moisture Rich Foaming Cleanser is an old favourite of mine as I have been using it off and on for many years. It’s usually included in their Gifts With Purchase sets (GWPs) and they give a generous 50ml tube which lasts a long time. The actual size is 125ml at RM95.
Some may find the fragrance in this cleanser a bit too strong for their liking but I like it, always have and always will. It has a rich and thick texture so you really don’t need a lot for each usage. It lathers up beautifully and the foam feels luxurious on my skin.
Although I’ve heard that foaming cleansers are not suitable for dry skins, this cleanser doesn’t strip my skin of moisture. There is no tight feeling after washing it off, instead my skin feels quite soft. The most important thing is that my skin feels clean and there are no makeup residues.
Since I have always been able to snare a 50ml tube whether from GWPs or their skincare value sets, I have never had to purchase a full-sized cleanser. With daily usage (I use it only in the evenings to remove makeup other than eye makeup), a 50ml tube has lasted more than a month.
There’s another version of this cleanser in a light blue tube formulated for normal/combination skins. I’ve used both before and I prefer the one for dry skin as my skin just feels more comfortable afterwards. Both versions cleanse equally well.
