I checked out Bobbi Brown’s Holiday Collection a few weeks ago and was impressed with the eyeshadow palettes but nothing beat Bobbi’s Powder Pearl Eye Trio. Now this is really worth having a close look at simply because I have never seen anything like this from Bobbi. My first thought was this is Bobbi’s version of bareMinerals High Shine Trio from last year which I purchased and am still using regularly.
Bobbi’s Powder Pearl Eye Trio has black caps just like the bareMinerals set and is so similar that I had to do a double take. Each Bobbi shadow boasts 95% pure pearl pigments so you can expect them to be well pigmented and shimmery but not over-the-top glittery.

Aren’t the shades lovely? I think they are extremely wearable even for day time! I would have purchased Black Pearl if only it was available for sale on its own as it reminded me of MAC’s Gilt By Association. Black Pearl has golden shimmer and I can see this will quite outstanding for a smoky eye look.
The sponge applicator can be applied directly to eyelids just like bareMinerals’ and blending is really easy. You can use your fingers or a brush depending on your preference. Pink Pearl makes a lovely highlight and is more peach than pink.Colours can be sheer or intense depending on how many layers are applied.
Am I sorely tempted by this set? More than you know but I’ve already committed to purchasing something else from Bobbi Brown – review coming up on that product. Bobbi Brown Powder Pearl Eye Trio retails at RM180/3.3g.
