Yume Cuisine @ Tropicana City Mall is an Asian fusion restaurant. Now, I normally get a bit wary whenever I see the word “fusion” because I prefer non-fusion cuisine. Somehow my experiences with fusion restaurant have been more miss than hit.
My host asked me what I would like to try from the menu and I chose Chef’s Special Sweet and Sour Pork @ RM20 because it’s different from the way other restaurants serve their versions. This one has crushed ice on it. The pork cubes were tender and hot. Turned out very nicely as the ice didn’t make it turn very cold. It tasted very refreshing and I have to say 2 thumbs up for this dish.
The Spicy and Soup Soup @ RM9 is big enough for 2 pax. It’s okay but not the best spicy and sour soup I have ever had.
As for the Stir Fried Sliced Fish with Celery @ RM20, it was quite nice but not too memorable.
Yume Cuisine is located on the Ground Floor of Tropicana City Mall.
