When Less Is More : MIVVA’s Colourific Beauty Box

So far I have not been disappointed by MIVVA’s beauty boxes of which I have received quite a few already, courtesy of the lovely ladies at MIVVA (they are seriously the nicest team!). I’ve found quite a lot of products in their boxes which I liked and have reviewed. From what I have seen, they really make an effort to provide the best they possibly can to their subscribers so it was for this reason that I signed up for their June beauty box for the very first time, as in this is the first time I have actually paid for a beauty box.

How to resist this month’s Colourific box? It was tempting because I had an inkling that there’d be make-up products in there and I don’t seem to have seen much make-up in other beauty boxes. I just had to have this month’s box plus it’s time to support MIVVA because they have been so very good to me the past few months. It’s all about quid pro quo, after all, a favour for a favour. That’s how I see it anyway and it’s a decision made easy by the fact that MIVVA offers contents that I am consistently impressed with.

I’ve never been one for small sized samples in beauty boxes. Even if there are 10 samples in there, it doesn’t beat having fewer products but all full-sized, hence I say “less is more”. There are just 4 products in MIVVA’s June box and these are:-

  • Enuca Eye Essential Quad in Amethyst RM88 (also available in Sunset and Smoky)
  • Liese Bubble Hair Color in Raspberry Brown RM38 (newly launched colour, also available in Creamy Beige)
  • 1 sachet of Beautymate Black Pearl & Calendula Officinalis Whitening Nano Mask RM49.90 for 7 pieces
  • Skin 79 Mini Rose Lip Gloss RM16.90 for 1.1g

The Enuca Quad reminds me of Anna Sui colours, can’t wait to try this one out. I have always wanted to try Liese Bubble Hair Color and I am glad I received Raspberry Brown and not Creamy Beige. The Skin 79 Mini Rose Lip Gloss also reminds me of something similiar from Anna Sui, this one is so cute that I won’t be able to bring myself to use it but I guess I really should if I am to review it.
