I don’t have the most healthy diet although I try very hard to watch what I consume every day. I could do with a lot more fibre, vegetables and fruits in my system. During my recent two VITAGEN media events, I discovered more about the importance of good gut health. It’s been too many decades since I last had a bottle of VITAGEN and it was timely when I got invited to those VITAGEN events as I have a new found appreciation for VITAGEN and started buying packs of their LB flavour as a pack of 5 only costs RM3.50 at Econsave.
What is surprising though is that their less sugar variants cost more than their normal variants. I would have thought that less sugar would cost less but no, seems you pay more if you want less sugar! Actually, my favourite flavours are LB and Collagen as these two have a slightly sour taste and it’s like drinking yoghurt. I find the non-less sugar variants too artificial in taste.
The Collagen flavour is of course the most expensive for obvious reasons. The grape, orange and apple flavours also come in less sugar variants. It’s comforting to know that VITAGEN contains billions of good bacteria with live, active cultures of Lactobacillus acidophilus and casei. This formulation helps aid the absorption of nutrients from food and stimulates a stronger immune system. It also assists in suppressing the growth of harmful bacteria, reducing the risk of intestinal disturbances for optimal digestive health when consumed.
If you like green tea, you can also add green tea powder to original flavour Vitagen. Taste kinda nice, and can clear the gunk from intestines as I was told. Green tea powder in foil packets available at supermarket, if you are interested to try ^_^.
Thanks for the tip, will try next time I have some green tea powder.
