Yesterday morning I received a sms from MAC Cosmetics informing me I could collect a lipstick (full size) without making a purchase. Another offer too good to resist or too good to be true? There were a few outlets I could collect from, all in the Klang Valley. I wonder why they didn’t offer to their customers in Penang, I am sure there are many loyal fans of MAC up there.
During lunch time, I went to Mid Valley because I didn’t want to go any later than the first day of the offer just in vase they were out of stock. There were only 2 shades of this complimentary lipstick to choose from. As expected, both shades were brown. Probably the shades which are the hardest to sell. One was a dark brown and the other a light brown so I chose the light brown, Kinkster.
While I don’t want to sound like I look a gift horse in the mouth, I wish I hadn’t gone to collect since the shades offered aren’t suitable for me. I would rather have my natural lip colour than wear any brown shades. I do wish they would offer slightly nicer shades if they are running a promotion like this.
