For many years, since I discovered iORA at Isetan KLCC and The Gardens, the brand has been one of my favourites where fashion is concerned. I have bought tops and bottoms as I like the style, it’s chic and stylish, casual but not frumpy. They can be matched with so many other clothes in my wardrobe. I was pleased to see that iORA opened such a huge store in Mid Valley Megamall.
On 3 September 2019, iORA officially opened its largest concept store in Malaysia located at F-JA2(B) First Floor of Mid Valley Megamall. Covering a remarkable retail space of over 9,000 sq ft, the store is an epitome of sleek elegance, designed to optimize browsing space for customers with an even more impressive range of products.
iORA’s first brick and mortar store was opened in 1998, offering updated basics and timeless styles that can be worn season after season. From a single brand, iORA has evolved to include more sub-brands to suit the changing needs of women today, growing into 25 stores (including standalone stores and consignment counters) across Singapore and Malaysia. This concept store is the third in Malaysia and the largest yet. Housing three distinctive sub-brands that work harmoniously with each other – iORA, LALU and SORA, the store is set to complement and complete every woman’s wardrobe.
iORA creates its basic quality wear with a tweak in updated styles that suit a modern woman’s lifestyle. An iORA woman completes her look in affordable timeless classics with a hint of seasonal trendy elements.
LALU targets a more dynamic and younger set of customers. Fashion lovers understand that LALU conveys more fun and trendy styles, which are both affordable and easy to wear.

The new concept store brings to life the DNA of iORA, with its open, uncluttered sense of space that allows the products to take centre stage. Contemporary yet sophisticated, the interior is kept to a minimal, to mimic that of an art gallery. With limited shelving units, products are displayed and arranged neatly by brands, types of assortments, as well as trendy colour combinations, for a sense of freshness and vigour. The airy walkway, coupled with the comfortable lighting, also provides a cozy ambience for customers to do their shopping.
Upon entering the store, customers are greeted with vibrant centre leads in a multi-layered display of head to toe pieces, from the most updated assortments. Latest campaign visuals on both sides of the walls accentuate the store interior while custom-framed mirrors evoke a certain charm that is iORA. Walk further into the store to get acquainted with a huge retail space, filled with a plethora of fashion apparels that are predominantly iORA and LALU.
Beyond this space, brightly lit fitting rooms that are spacious, yet intimate, provide the privacy needed for a fuss-free experience when trying on new iORA or LALU apparels. Displays of SORA accessories are also strategically placed within the store, to inspire shoppers of the best accessory pairings to complete any stylish look.
Expect to see colours of the brand’s Fall Winter 2019 collections when browsing through the assortments of blouses, outerwear, skirts, dresses, sweaters, pants and knitwear. One will find fashion-forward ranges that cover all women’s essentials, easily mixed and matched to look accomplished and confident.
