Top to bottom – foundation brush, powder brush, eyeshadow brush, lip brush, concealer brush, angled brush

Whenever a new cosmetics brand comes to town, I’m always on the look-out for their brushes. I love checking out makeup brushes especially travel size sets. I picked up this set of Inglot brushes because it looked so handy for travelling and had brushes for every makeup function.

Apparently, the brushes are a mix of synthetic and animal hair. The foundation and powder brushes are so soft. I like the foundation brush a lot because it’s small enough to blend foundation evenly around my nose area. The powder brush is super-duper soft, it can also double up as a blusher brush.

There is only 1 eyeshadow brush in this set and it’s rather big. I think it’s more useful as a blending brush than for applying eyeshadow. The bristles are fine and don’t scratch my eyelids. The lip brush has a pointy end and as such, can be used to line the lips as well.

The concealer brush is the right size for blending cream concealers and can also be used for applying pigments. It’s a firm brush but not hard. The last brush is the angled brush which can be used for applying eyebrow gel and tidying eyebrows. I’ve also experimented and used it to apply gel eyeliner. It works but I had to use more than usual since the brush isn’t for that purpose.

Inglot brush sets come in black and red colours. The zip-up PVC pouch makes it convenient for toting around anywhere. The price is RM110 which I found reasonable compared to other brands. The brush set is made in Korea.
