ENCORP Berhad (“ENCORP”) a property development group with diversified interests across construction, investment property and facilities management, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) to undertake the design and construction of FELDA’s staff housing. The MoU signing ceremony, which took place at Menara FELDA, was signed by Dato’ Dr. Suzana Idayu Wati binti Osman, Director-General of FELDA and Encik Ahmad Harzimi bin Mohd Taib, Group Chief Executive Officer of ENCORP, and witnessed by Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery bin Cheek, Chairman of FELDA, Encik Mohd Yusmadi bin Mohd Yusoff, Chairman of ENCORP, as well as the management and representatives of both organisations.

Under the MOU, ENCORP will act as the main contractor under the design and built model for the project, subject to the finalisation of definitive agreements and relevant approvals. This strategic collaboration reflects FELDA’s commitment to enhancing the overall living standards of its workforce through thoughtfully designed, purpose-built homes that prioritise comfort, functionality and conducive living environments, thereby supporting employees’ wellbeing and day-to-day productivity as well as strengthen the social infrastructure.

Speaking at the ceremony, Group Chief Executive Officer of ENCORP, Encik Ahmad Harzimi bin Mohd Taib added, “We are honoured to be entrusted with contributing our construction expertise to FELDA’s development, and we are deeply committed to providing modern, well-planned and quality residential environments for the well-being of the FELDA workforce.”

The partnership builds on ENCORP’s established track record in delivering quality developments through its subsidiary, Encorp Development Sdn Bhd, which successfully completed Phase 1 of Lamanda Chuping which comprising 224 low- and medium-cost residential units for FELDA settlers and the next generation, alongside 17 commercial units in 2024. Through its active portfolio, including Tilia Shah Alam, the planned next phase of Lamanda Chuping, ENCORP continues to focus on sustainable growth while bringing the same standards of excellence to this initiative.
