ECCO Fall/Winter 2014 Collection

ECCO celebrates Fall-Winter 2014 with premium functional style infused with Scandinavian design, innovation, authenticity and individuality. The collection showcases a diverse line up of shoes for active people–whether their world is urban or nature inspired, professional or casual, high paced or low key.

For year-round, all-occasion lines like ECCO Dress Comfort, even more comprehensive collections are in the works to ensure an ideal match for every foot and life moment. The total collection is a stylistically eclectic mix featuring hybrid design, digital effects, synthetic details and accents – all geared towards an active, fashionable lifestyle.

Never one to choose the beaten path, ECCO is also pushing the boundaries of its palette, with two unusual new shoe shades lighting up the Fall-Winter 2014 collection: Midnight Blue and Green Gables. More traditional autumn shades–Classic Black, Espresso, Coffee, Red Burgundy and Rust Brown – are featured as well.

At its Fall-Winter 2014 collection launch held at The Bee, Publika, ECCO revealed a number of new collections for Men and Women at a simple, understated yet classy event hosted by celebrity emcee, Nadia Heng.

This season’s most stylish range for women is the ECCO Touch 15 loafer, hand-picked by Malaysian celebrity Scha Alyahya. The gorgeous, feminine ECCO TOUCH 15, featuring handcrafted uppers in extra fine leathers, is super-flexible, shock-resistant and lightweight outsole with specially developed comfort shank for 24-7 comfort.

The on-trend, retro-inspired ECCO CS14 LADIES casual sneaker is also a must have, suitable to be paired with dresses, suits, jeans and skirts. Anyone who still thinks that high heels cannot be comfortable and stylish has clearly not tried ECCO Sculptured 45w. The ultimate in high heel comfort that takes you from work to restaurant to club without a fuss.

For men, ECCO introduces ECCO Findlay, the smart casual dress shoe with playful details to add an edge to just about any outfit, from denim to a casual suit. It is Malaysia’s actor, TV host and model’s Awal Ashaari’s top favourite. On the other hand, ECCO Cairo features a classic foundation dress shoe with unique detailing and technology to support the modern professional’s lifestyle.

Also stealing the show, were this season’s bag collection, featuring premium leather from ECCO’s tanneries. Bags for ladies include the stylish ECCO Derna Clutch, and timeless and elegant ECCO Sculptured Shoulder Bag. The men’s range oozes masculinity with the rugged yet refined ECCO Denio Messenger and the sophisticated ECCO Ely Messenger. The quality, workmanship and durability of these bags are truly undeniable.

Guests were guided through a leather workshop teaching everyone how to self-assemble an ECCO leather pouch. The leather workshop was hosted by ECCO Designer Ms. Solveig Gubser, who also shared insightful information about ECCO leather, Scandinavian design, and the latest colors and trends for the Fall-Winter 2014 collection.

The special appearance by celebrity couple, Awal Ashaari and Scha Alyahya decked in ECCO’s Fall-Winter 2014 collection added glamour to the setting.
