Looking at the number of festive sets available at Crabtree last year with these hand creams in them, I’ll hazard a guess and say that these are Crabtree bestsellers. Their compact size makes them very handy for taking along anywhere. Hand creams aren’t just for applying when we are at home, they can be applied at the office or when we are on the retail therapy route. There are so many variations of this Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy that I am sure everyone will be able to find their favourite scent.
So I happen to have 2 of these Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy. Somerset Meadow® is from May Bag Of Love while Lavender is from Modbox’s Blogger Kit this month. They look and feel the same, creamy and quite rich but not too thick as to be difficult to be absorbed into skin.
Somerset Meadow® Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy is infused with shea butter, macadamia nut oil and a fresh green fruity-floral scent. It contains hydrating ceramides and conditioning water lily and ivy extracts as well as myrrh extract to help condition nails and cuticles.
Lavender Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy is infused with macadamia nut oil, shea butter and lavender oil. It contains hydrating ceramides, antioxidant-rich vitamin E and myrrh extract to help condition nails and cuticles.
While I like the scents especially Lavender and the soft, buttery feel of the hand creams, I didn’t find them hydrating enough. Sure they had a softening effect on my hands but the hydrating effect just didn’t last very long. I felt like I needed another application less than an hour later.
Crabtree & Evelyn Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy retail at RM35/25g.
