For its Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, Collistar has drawn inspiration from the island of Capri, a gem of stunning beauty set in the Mediterranean. The Capri Collection has been inspired by the island’s landscape and vegetation.

Collistar’s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection is a celebration of the seemingly casual but carefully studied Capri style. Eyelids are shaded in neutral and pastel shades. For Capri evenings, the eyes are lit up by sharp, vivid outlines in green and blue.

The Weave Silk Effect Blusher – Eye Shadow (RM95)

The star of the collection is this multi-coloured compact powder with an exclusive weave pattern, recalling the hand-woven fabrics of Italian craftsmanship or the straw or wicker baskets that represent the essential accessory for completing the Capri holiday look.

THE WEAVE comes in two versions.

AMBER WEAVE proposes a soft, warm look that plays on shades of apricot, beige and amber. Ideal for enhancing tanned skin, it gives the face the natural radiant appearance of the outdoor life.

ROSY WEAVE is a small palette of pale pink, medium warm pink and intense pink. Ideal for creating a romantic look characterised by lightness and delicacy.

The distinct separation of colours in The Weave is achieved with the use of an innovative ‘mosaic’ technology – the shades may be applied together or separately to create infinite combinations of colours on both eyes and cheeks, enhancing the face with three-dimensional reflections and tone-on-tone effects. The pack includes two specific applicators for blusher and eye shadow.

The Capri Collection focuses on the transparencies and buildable shadings of the powders, which are proposed in natural, sophisticated colours, contrasting with the sharp, precise lines of the vivid, intriguing eye liners. Lashes are clothed in a brand new blue, giving the eyes depth and a touch of colour. This look is that of a mischievous bon-ton lady.

Professional Eye Liner (RM65) & Mascara Infinito High Precision (RM75)

Contrasting graphic lines with Professional Eye Liner in the most characteristic Capri-style colours Sea Blue and Ivy Green. A thin and imperceptible line along the upper lashes will give an unpredictable touch of colour, day and night. For a look in a 60s style, it can be perfectly combined with satin eye shadows : a thick and precise line will enlarge the eyes and turn them into the natural focus of the face.

To capture infinite glazes and play with colour, Collistar’s Mascara Infinito High Precision, the mascara that defines, shapes and perfectly separates lashes, gets BLUE. The applicator made in differentiated bristles allows definition of every single lash with precision, enhancing the natural beauty of the eyes. Blue, ideal to give deepness and emphasise the glaze, is the real touch of class of a very smart look.

Topgloss Stick (RM55)

Shades are Cherry, Nude, Mandarin and Grenadine.

Perfect Nails Enamel (RM39)

MintMilk is featured (on the model’s nails) in the advertising campaign. The collection also features the very summery and evocative colours Marc, a warm violet. Ivy, a bold green and Papaya, a rich orange.

Also in the Capri Collection are 2 shades of Silk Effect Bronzing Powder, Coffee and Tobacco for creating natural shadings and tone-on-tone effects all over the face and the Smoothing Filler Make-Up Base for shine-proof make-up. The product is rich in special, soft focus powders which minimize dark zones and give the skin an even brightness. Within the formula are vitamins E and C, peptidic complex, plant extracts.
