Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has unveiled the celebration of Canon National Camera Day with an aim to cultivate the love for camera and photography among aspiring photographers and enthusiasts.
Celebrated annually on June 29, National Camera Day is observed to celebrate and commemorate the existence of cameras and the benefits it holds to mankind.
In line with the new normal, the month-long campaign will be hosted digitally on Canon Malaysia’s official Instagram page (@canonmalaysia), consisting of a series of photography workshops hosted by Canon EOS Youth Ambassadors, an opportunity to cultivate a passion for creative photography among young aspiring photographers and for the public to participate in the Capturing Moments photo contest. Revolving around three photo themes – First Moments, Memorable Moments and Nature Moments, the details of both Capturing Moments Photography workshop and Capturing Moments contest are published on Canon Malaysia’s official Instagram page.
The components of the celebration are part of Canon’s larger purpose to cultivate a photography culture by giving aspiring photographers a platform to develop their technical skills, push their creative boundaries and showcase their talent to a wide range of audiences.
The Canon National Camera day will run from June 8 – July 12, 2020 with the photo contest starting on June 8.
