An Array Of Awesome Middle Eastern Fare At “Seribu Satu Malam” Buffet At Relish Restaurant Fraser Residence Kuala Lumpur

It’s easy to confuse Fraser Place with Fraser Residence and that’s exactly what happened to me as I went to Fraser Place thinking Relish Restaurant was there but it’s actually at Frasers Hospitality’s 3rd property in Malaysia, Fraser Residence. Fraser Residence is a 445-unit serviced residence a stone’s throw away from Renaissance Hotel and is Fraser Hospitality’s largest serviced residence to date. This post is all about the “Seribu Satu Malam” Buffet at Relish Restaurant Fraser Residence Kuala Lumpur and what an incredibly delectable and sumptuous spread it is. Relish Restaurant is very spacious and even at full capacity, I don’t think one will face having to jostle for food as everything is so well spread out all over the restaurant.

At this buffet, Relish Restaurant showcased a myriad of Middle Eastern and local dishes. The promotion runs from 22 June to 12 July 2015 exclusively by Chef Ishak. Chef Ishak will be showcasing specialties from the Middle East which includes Kabsa Laham, Tajine Barkouk, Shish Taook, Babosa and Baklava. He will also showcase his local signature dishes such as gulai tempoyak, ikan patin, ayam percik cik siti wan kemabng, rending tok and laksa Johor for guests to enjoy.

All the Middle Eastern dishes including the Whole Roasted Lamb made me go back for seconds especially the Couscous. I rarely get to indulge in Couscous so I stuffed myself on Couscous which is so fluffy. Batata Harra is a delicious potato dish which is mildly spicy.

There are so many local dishes to tempt the palate. There are also fresh oysters and prawns which are my favourite at buffets. Everything at this restaurant tastes so good.

The variety of desserts at this buffet will delight anyone especially those with a sweet tooth or two.

If you haven’t had enough at this buffet, had on to the 5th floor where you can indulge in local fruits such as rambutan, mangosteens and durians, wonderful place to have long chats with friends and family.

Thoroughly enjoyed this buffet, ate more than my usual capacity and didn’t regret it as this is one of the better hotel buffets I’ve had in recent memory. The variety of food was seemingly endless and I kept discovering something new each time I got out of my seat.

Each diner can take home a little yellow fluffy duck which will remind them of their marvelous gastronomic experience at Relish Restaurant Fraser Residence Kuala Lumpur.

While dining, guests can also look forward to be entertained by a traditional “Ghazal” band from “Ghazal Seri Kenangan”. The band consists of an accordion, acoustic guitar and “Gendang” (Percussions) that will perform three sessions of music that varies from Ghazal, Asli and Modern. It will be played from 6.45pm to 9.00pm daily during the promotion period.

Relish is located on the ground floor of Fraser Residence Kuala Lumpur offering all-day dining. There’s long wooden table that can seat 24 people.
