Some time ago, I was handed a bunch of DHC sachet samples. This is one drugstore brand I have always wanted to to try as the skincare contains botanical ingredients. Browsing through their official website though, I don’t think all their products are available at Watsons. I would like to try their Q10 Neck Cream but I don’t think it’s available here.
Anyway, the above 3 samples are :-
- Deep Cleansing Oil
- Mild Touch Cleansing Oil
- Moisture Fruit Gel Cream
The 2 cleansing oils have quite a thick consistency. The scents are different of course. Their Deep Cleansing Oil would be the brand’s bestselling product, I presume – it has an olive and rosemary formula. The Mild Touch Cleansing Oil removes makeup as efficiently as the Deep Cleansing Oil – this one utilizes moisturizing amino-acid based emollient and according to their website, is about to be discontinued. Between the 2, I prefer the Deep Cleansing Oil because it has a nicer scent and I like the slightly thicker consistency, it gives my skin a cleaner feeling after it’s been rinsed off.
The Moisture Fruit Gel Cream features gentle botanical and fruit extracts, including kiwi, apple, peach leaf, grapefruit and raspberry. It has a grapefruit scent and a light texture which is very comforting, gives a very moisturising sensation to my skin.
