Dermatix Malaysia has launched See Her Heal – 1,000 Untold Stories, a story-sharing campaign created to encourage more open conversations around C-section recovery and the experiences many mothers carry after childbirth. Marking 15 years of Dermatix in Malaysia, the campaign invites mothers to share personal reflections and transform them into AI-generated visual story moments, creating a platform for empathy, understanding and community support.
For many C-section mothers, recovery extends beyond the early postpartum period. Alongside the physical changes that may follow childbirth, mothers may also navigate emotional adjustments, changing self-perception and personal experiences that are not always openly discussed. See Her Heal – 1,000 Untold Stories was created to help mothers feel seen, acknowledged and supported by giving them a space to share the realities of their recovery journeys in their own words.

At the heart of the campaign is an interactive microsite powered by Generative AI technology, now available for mothers across Malaysia to participate in the story-sharing experience. Through the platform, mothers can submit a personal reflection inspired by their C-section experience and see it transformed into an illustrated story moment. The microsite was developed to make story-sharing more accessible, expressive and private, allowing mothers to communicate moments that may otherwise be difficult to put into words.
“Recovery after childbirth is deeply personal, and many mothers may feel that parts of their C-section experience are not openly spoken about or fully understood. Through See Her Heal – 1,000 Untold Stories, we hope to create a supportive space where mothers can share their stories, feel acknowledged and know that they are not alone. As Dermatix marks 15 years in Malaysia, this campaign reflects our commitment to encouraging greater empathy, understanding and support for mothers as they navigate life after childbirth,” said Josie Ong, General Manager of Menarini Malaysia.

The campaign was introduced at a launch event that brought together maternal health voices, parenting content creators and community partners for a discussion on C-section recovery and motherhood. The session explored how recovery experiences can differ from one mother to another, and how open conversation, emotional reassurance and supportive communities can help mothers feel more understood during the postpartum period.
Guests were also invited to experience the preview of the campaign platform first-hand ahead of its launch through on-ground activations that demonstrated how personal reflections can be transformed into AI-generated illustrated stories. The event experience was designed to reflect the campaign’s wider purpose: encouraging mothers to share their experiences in a way that feels personal, creative and supportive.
With the campaign microsite now live, See Her Heal – 1,000 Untold Stories invites mothers across Malaysia to take part in the story-sharing experience by contributing reflections inspired by their own C-section recovery journeys. Through the platform, the initiative aims to amplify stories that are often left unheard while encouraging greater understanding, compassion and solidarity for mothers after childbirth.
