Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Review

My first impression of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is how slim and light it is. Indeed, this is Galaxy’s slimmest and lightest Fold ever. Unfolded, it has the most expansive screen of all the Galaxy smartphones at 8″ across which makes for very comfortable reading and to me, it felt more like a mini book than a phone. It just makes reading so much easier as I don’t have to squint.

Folded, it measures an impressive 8.9mm. at 215g, it’s so light that I hardly notice it in my pocket. The screen is ideal for those who have eyesight problems like me especially as I am an avid Shopee user so every detail is spread out making it so much easier to navigate.

Another bonus with having such a nice, big screen is it makes taking photos such as selfies a lot more fun. More people can fit into the screen. It has a 200 MP camera which gives high-resolution shots. All the photos I have taken with this phone are bright, be it in low lighting or full sunlight. It improves color and details for clarity that even enhances skin tones and textures. Fit more into your selfies with the improved and upgraded 10 MP main screen camera. Capture more vivid and well-defined dynamic images with the sharper sensor.

With 4400 mAh and mDNIe technology for maximum power efficiency without draining the battery life, you get 24 hours of video playback time. It charges rather fast so even if you don’t have much time to charge the phone, that time will be sufficient to increase the battery percentage to a decent amount for all-day use.

This is the perfect phone for taking videos at night. Capture breathtaking videos even in low light. The high-resolution sensor works together with the advanced ProVisual Engine that’s built into the AP, to deliver richer contrast day or night. Noise is also reduced so your shots stay sharp in the dark without the need to edit your videos later on.

New to Galaxy, this Fold is wrapped in a tougher advanced Armor Aluminum frame. The phone I reviewed is in Blue Shadow Shade. Also available in Silver Shadow, Jetblack and Mint (samsung.com only).
