My hair is naturally frizzy and it’s not only my nightmare but my hair stylist’s every 3 months for a rebonding session. It doesn’t take long for my hair to become frizzy again after each rebonding session which is why I have to use a straightening iron after each shampoo and sometimes in-between shampoos too. However, using heat styling products can damage the hair and lead to dryness.
This is where Oscar Blandi’s Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protect Spray comes in handy. It provides protection against heat styling and offers 450 degrees F heat protection. It safeguards hair from all hot tools as the dry-spray formula is enriched with keratin proteins to nourish, strengthen and protect.
Similar to other Pronto products, it has the lemon verbena scent. I use it after my shampoo and in-between shampoos before using the hair straightener. It makes my hair softer and less dry after heat styling. It’s not at all like a conventional hair spray which may make hair itch.
It’s a good product for anyone whose hair is prone to dryness after heat styling. Oscar’s tip is to apply it to dry hair section by section prior to using a hairdryer, flat iron, curling iron or hot rollers. Available at Sephora, it is rather pricey at RM94for 113g.
