At the Oscar Blandi salon in NYC, clients are treated to a shine enhancing, color-preserving glaze after every color service. The At Home Salon Glaze reinvents the experience at home. It contains Olive oil and Macadamia oil to instantly brighten all hair colors.
It can be used in 2 ways:-
(1) apply from roots to ends of hair after conditioner (towel dry hair first), comb through and leave for 1-3 minutes, then rinse; or
(2) mix a drop in with conditioner for a daily shine boost.
I have been using it the 2nd way, by mixing (more than a drop) with my conditioner and leaving it in my hair for about 3 minutes before rinsing. Since I don’t have colored hair, I can’t vouch for its ability to prevent color fading or retaining the vibrancy of hair color.
What it does for my hair is it makes my hair much softer and adds a sheen to it. It gives my hair a certain shine so that it looks less dull and more healthy looking. Those with colored hair can probably benefit more from this product since it is formulated to enhance hair color.
