MAC PatentPolish Lip Pencil Collection

The sale is near but I just had to go check out MAC’s latest collection, Patent Polish Lip which comes in 12 shades. There’s no need to sharpen and they have the texture of lip gloss. There’s shimmer in some of them and in general, they are so fabulously pigmented and coverage ranges from sheer to medium.

P1260024(1)

Innocent (Nude Beige), Go For Girlie (Bright Pink), Clever (Asia only shade, nude with shimmer), Pleasant (Orange Red)

Fearless (Deep Blue Pink), Revved Up (Creamy Peach), Teen Dream (Bright Coral Orange), Being Bold (Orange Red)

Too irresistible, I went home with one of them even though I am saving for the sale. They retail at RM85/2.3g each.

  1. Love all the colors I wish they are selling them at the sale I know they won’t but still wishing
But am gonna go check these out soon

    1. That’s why I said some of them are quite sheer but the ones with better colour pay-off like Spontaneous, PatentPink and Kittenish really show up very well.

  2. hi there

are these LE? how do they compare to the revlon just bitten balms/lacquer balms and the nars lip pencils? tks!

    1. Yes they are LE. I don’t know about NARS but I can tell you how they compare with Revlon ColorBurst Crayons which I reviewed recently. ColorBurst Crayons (and probably the lacquer balms) have that balm effect meaning lips feel more moisturized. I’d say PatentPolish look more matte and you get the mild vanilla scent instead of mint in the ColorBurst Crayons. As for staying power, I think the PatentPolish have the edge over ColorBurst Crayons.

    2. tks for the info. still donno whether to get anything from this collection given the several anticpated collections upcoming. 🙂

  3. I am contemplating between teen dream, pleasant and being bold. Gotta go swatch them too see which is the most wearable one!
